Default Paying for College

Well, I don't know exactly how to begin this, so I'm just gonna jump right in.

I need help paying for college. I'm 19 right now (about to be 20). The college I currently attend is a small, private Liberal Arts school, which costs a crap load of money to go to. It costs roughly $30,000 for 2 semesters (roughly one year's worth of college). Basically, my parents can't afford to send me to college there anymore and my scholarships are gone.

Would it be a good idea to take out student loans in order to pay for college?
I'm not sure if I'd like to be in over $60,000+ worth of debt after I graduate from college. But from what I've heard, these loans aren't that bad to pay off.

Also, I know the military can help pay off college loans. I was thinking if I do take out loans for school, I could join the military to help pay off a good chunk of the money. I've also been kind of interested in joining the military for some time (i'm physically fit, so I'm not worried about boot camp, etc.).

Any help and/or advice would be awesome.
Thank you!

Well from what I have heard (I'm only 14, but I'm already being crammed with this stuff that you may have been deprived of) that the Military has ALOT to offer and can not only be a good program to help pay off loans, but just a good program in general. I'm not EXACTLY sure how it all works, but..I believe that you have to serve a 2 year (maybe more, maybe less) period to pay off so much and depending on how much you serve depends on how much is payed off. I am not positive about this however, but as long as you are in physical shape and think the military would be your best choice.

wow that sucks. for me i get to go to Bradley University w/ tuition already payed as my dad works there. most private schools offer a crap load of scholarships. u can apply for any types whioch would prolly be yur best bet to knock off some of the college debt. as for a college loan ya u could take one out but it will take a number of years to pay it off. i would look into any kind of scholarships possible. im not sure if u can apply for a scholarship after uve enrolled so idk. as for the military depending on which bracnch u go into boot camp will be different. boot camp is not ez. even for physically fit its hard. boot camp is not suppose to be ez. so really if u can apply for any scholarship u can or take out student loans.
